AmSouth Operating Center - Birmingham, Alabama (February 2003)
Juba Aluminum Products recently completed the glass and glazing work for the AmSouth Operating Center at Parkway Office Circle in Birmingham, Alabama.
This over $2M project began in 2001 and was completed within schedule. The 4- story structure includes over 63,000 sf. of custom design exterior I-beam curtainwall, ribbon windows, formed aluminum panels and insulated glass. Jeff Heintz, project manager, says that AmSouth was a great success and praised the partnering attitude of the entire construction team.
Brasfield & Gorrie served as general contractor for the entire building program. Architectural services were provided by Smallwood, Reynolds, Stewart, Stewart & Associates in Atlanta, Georgia. The owner of the project is AmSouth Bank.
